Carmina says Bebang’s halo-halo is summer in a spoon — but is it the real deal or just pretty colors in a cup?

Since last year, Mom Violy and Carmina had been wanting to try the much-talked-about  Bebang's Halo-Halo , but even when we passed by, the timing was never right. Mom Violy kept saying she’d wait until a branch opened closer to us. Then Becky told Carmina there was one along her commute route to work. The best part was that the Tomas Morato branch in Quezon City had just opened. When we arrived at CTTM Square , we found plenty of restaurants on the second floor. While checking the menu, we let the customers behind us order first. Mom Violy asked them for recommendations, and they suggested the Presidential for first timers. Originally I didn't order the ham and cheese croissants that were on sale the sales person at Cafe France had informed me that the chicken pastel pie wasn't available if there was a substitution from my order. The sales person informed me she had a promotional going on for ham and cheese croissant. I said sure why not and asked how many sets I wanted to order during my transaction over the phone. I felt like eating something for a change to eat some sandwiches and came upon ordering from Cafe France. I wanted to try French Dip Roast Beef Sandwich for PHP 285.00 ($5.70) the bread is ciabatta not the type of bread they use back home in California.  Family member wanted to try their CF Premiere Clubhouse for  everything is inside choice of single PHP 165.00 ($3.30) or whole PHP 275.00 ($5.50) price difference in Cafe France. I wanted to add soup with my meal and added my favorite Pumpkin Soup PHP 120.00 ($2.40). My favorite from Cafe France is their potato & bacon salad canno...

Alba Restaurante Espanol

My mom is having her own festival in her home. My mom was craving for Paella Valenciana that is rice cooked with chicken, pork, seafood and vegetables. My mom use to eat Alba Restaurante Espanol Mediterranean with her relatives years ago. My mom had missed her Paella Valenciana for PHP 580.00 ($11.16) and requested Carmina to order it through Grab Food being delivered to her home. Paella Valenciana had arrived in a box shown in the picture. For your reference you may refer to their website of  Alba Restaurante Espanol Philippines  to see what you can order from their menu. Note: Carmina is not selling or advertising for Alba Restaurante Espanol just a place my mom wanted to eat her Paella Valenciana.
