Tired of the new rules, Carmina closed her Google Maps account — what pushed her over the edge?

It’s been months since Carmina last posted on her Google Maps. I started doing it just for fun, exploring new places to dine and travel, and sharing those spots with others. Back in 2017, I wasn’t even blogging yet. Over the years, I received numerous email updates about changes, but in September, the removal of followers on Google Maps felt particularly strange. There’s no point in complaining about it. I decided not to close my account, as it wasn’t an option, but I did delete all the photos I had contributed over the years. I have fond memories of seeing which photos were popular and had hoped to share them with you. It was surprising to see how many views my pictures had accumulated. While deleting them, I noticed that many restaurants and bakeries no longer exist, with some marked as unknown on the map. Most of my photos were from the pandemic period, a time when I could fully express myself and write about the food I enjoyed. Let's take a trip down memory lane with Carmina th...

Mother's Day in Caliraya Ecoville Year 2018

There is a moment in your life when you celebrate Mother's Day not just with your family, but to celebrate it with your close friend who is also a mother for their daughter. I went to visit Caliraya Resort where I had booked in an application called  Booking.com where I had schedule all my travel plans from hotel accommodation not sending any money just pay upfront when you visit the area. I was always the person who had booked our events when my mom and friends felt they wanted to travel somewhere within the Philippines. One reason my friends requested me to have a personal blog to express all my travel diaries places I have traveled giving them tips in case they too plan to visit the place one day. For your reference you may refer to their website of  https://www.calirayaecoville.com/  the place looks different from the last time I had visited. NOT SPONSORED. Street Taco

Carmina grew up with Mexican friends from high school, college, and beyond. Over the years, while keeping in touch, her friends would often share what they ate after work. One friend mentioned eating at a street taco stand in a specific location. In California, these are called taco trucks , serving homemade Mexican dishes prepared fresh based on your order. In the Philippines, taco trucks aren't available, but there are restaurants where Mexican food can be enjoyed by dining in. During the pandemic, Carmina started ordering food online using the Grab Food app . She finally discovered an authentic Mexican restaurant in the Philippines and decided to try their Camarones A La Diabla Street Tacos , made with spicy chipotle shrimp, cabbage, and a special sauce, priced at PHP 170.00 ($3.40). Carmina enjoyed her Camarones A La Diabla Street Tacos, which came in two pieces and were definitely spicy but still tolerable to eat. For those who love jalapeños and want to try some fries with ...
