Protect yourself and your loved ones - get vaccinated!

Carmina went to do her two weeks grocery on March 25, 2025, at Landers Balintawak branch. Upon entering the store near the pharmacy there was a sign posted saying to register for vaccines that will be held on April 12, 2025. Carmina called up Becky asking if she is interested remembered to look out for the flu shot. Becky said yes and asked her to give me full name, birthdate and phone number contact information. Carmina also called up Mom Violy said alright and still faraway to decide.  Carmina felt Mom Violy should get the flu shot since we'll be traveling to California upcoming vacation. Two years ago, when we went to California got sick and that time it was covid season. I just wanted to protect myself even though hardly get sick in the Philippines. Two days before our flu vaccine received a SMS on our mobile phone number to confirm if we are going to get our flu shot. I had responded said yes. One day before I had message Becky if she had received her confirmation on her flu s...

Crazy Tojo Salad from Soru Izakaya

When you're buddy Yann messages you sending you a link of a beach resort she wants to show to you telling you let's go together. The feeling of motivation goes toward you wanting to lose weight until she is done with her second vaccine. Carmina is going back on salad mode since in the home is something I don't eat. Our menu tends to repeat itself from weeks to the next week sometimes you cannot live that way. Carmina went ahead looking for food at Grab application ordered Crazy Tojo Salad from Soru Izakaya the ingredients lettuce, cucumber, mango, imitation crabmeat, deep fried crab, mango dressing and Japanese mayo. I felt it was something I had never tried it sound interesting. I didn't add the Japanese mayo to my salad just the mango dressing it taste enough for me with all the ingredients included for PHP 335.00 ($6.70) not including fees from Grab application and tip to the rider. I had enjoyed my meal and looking forward in trying other salad from Soru Izakaya. To...

Flavored Squid Balls from Serenitea

Carmina's mom was asking her daughter to order her some Brown Sugar Taho from Serenitea. I didn't feel like drinking anything due I have place me on a diet. I decided to try a snack from Serenitea and saw they have Squid Balls something I haven't eaten for a long time. There is a choice of three pieces for PHP 89.25 ($1.79) or additional 47.25 ($ 0.94) = PHP 136.50 ($2.73) five pieces. I felt three pieces wouldn't be enough for me. I thought there would be some type of sauce to come with it just the kind you see on the street venders in the Philippines. After biting to it found out there is seasoning on the squid balls on the outer part I took a closer picture for you to see. It is quite spicy yet so good no wonder there is no dipping sauce now it makes sense after biting it. I've always look forward to the snacks from Serenitea that makes me dig in to try something new.
