Carmina's review on Summit Hotel in Tacloban

Last year my dad had informed me he will be getting married in Tacloban the place his wife grew up in the Philippines . My dad said he would like all of his family members to attend since they couldn't go to the one in the United States. Carmina booked her flight during Philippine Airlines ’ year-end sale at the start of 2026. I told my dad about my travel plans for a short trip from Friday, April 17 to Sunday, April 19. My cousins also asked for my flight details so they could book the same flight. My dad said he will book my room for me sharing with two family members at  Summit Hotel in Tacloban . Malunggay Veggie Canton Recipe



Today on January 19, 2022 Carmina went down at the kitchen at 11:00 AM to check on Manang V.

Manang V said, I had cooked your Malunggay Veggie Canton since I had leftover chayote from last night.

Manang V said it is actually really delicious even if the Maluggay Veggie Canton is a small package.

Carmina went upstairs to eat her Malunggay Veggie Canton for her brunch with a cup of coffee where we often do this on our merienda (snack).

Carmina saw one of her follower posting eating Malunggay Veggie Canton in Hawaii. Carmina decided to look it up and guess you can find anything online.

First of all Carmina had purchased her Malunggay Veggie Canton from The Vegan Grocer Ph Online Shopee Philippines for PHP 52.00 ($1.02) not including shipping and handling.

Malunggay Veggie Canton Recipe 

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 Cup - Chayote 
  • 1/4 -  Carrot (peel and sliced)
  • Half Cup - Shredded Cabbage
  • 2 - Cloves of Garlic (chopped)
  • 1 - Small Onion (chopped)
  • 1/2 Cup - Sweet Peas
  • 6 Pieces - Shrimp (clean, peel from shell and chopped)
  • Patis (to taste)
  • 1 Cup - Vegetable Stock
  • 1 - Package Malunggay Veggie Canton 
Cooking Instructions:

  • In a new pot place a little amount of cooking oil
  • Sauté garlic, onion and shrimp
  • Add the fish sauce and 1 cup of water/vegetable stock
  • Add the carrot, cabbage, chayote and sweet peas
  • Add Malunggay Veggie Canton cook until noodles are fully cooked
  • Seasoning with Black Pepper and mix well
  • Transfer in a serving bowl
How does Malunggar Veggie Canton taste well for obvious reason is healthy for you and does well when you want to clean out everything out in your body.

It does taste really good adding all ingredients in your recipe with any vegetables you want to make a new meal.

You an option to add other ingredients in your Malunggay Veggie Canton we just used what we had leftover in our kitchen.
