Entering the Robinson's Magnolia Mall opens for DFA at 9:00 AM however you can inform the security guard at the entrance near McDonald's you have an appointment at 8:30 AM they will let you enter at 8:45 AM instructed by the DFA.

Walking inside the escalator has red foot stickers indicating where you need to pass directing you to the next escalator until you reach 4th Floor New Wing Building beside Time zone where the DFA is located.

There will be a cardboard box where you need to drop off your Application attached with all documents for someone to call your name once they begin to start.

If you don't know what to do the people seating down at the black chair can assist you giving you the right information.

It can be confusing at first, but anyone who is stressing and waiting to be called inside the DFA will experience something new when you see the changes.

If you are a Senior Citizen, PWD, and Pregnant and have a minor under 7 years old you have a separate area to go when they call your name.

Carmina notice that it is well organized.

  • Steps 1 - Seat down and wait until the person at DFA calls your name hand in your application to you.
  • Step 2 - Review your application, documents needed to presented and old Philippine Passport.
  • Step 3 - Picture taking where the person will review your documents given by Step 2 to type into their laptop to prepare your photo taking.
  • You'll be asked to remove any jewelries, hair accessories, eyeglasses, handbag, contact lens and mask.
  • Those who have long hair you'll be asked to tuck in your hair behind your ears.
  • The person helping you will ask you to review what they have typed to make sure your new passport is completed with the right information.
  • You will be asked to sign your signature and place your fingers and thumb printing into their system.

Just in case you happen to reach a correction on your application the DFA staff will ask you to return the next day. You don't need to schedule another appointment just come back giving you what they have asked from you.

You will receive a yellow card that looks like this example Carmina had to do some corrections on her application and was asked to return back on March 22, 2022.

TIPS:

Make sure you have everything stapled all together including copies of your documents needed application form for (new applicant and renewal), payment receipt (2), old passport (renewal), birth certificate, marriage contract (married), R.A. 9225 (Dual Citizenship) and Foreign Passport (if any).
