Protect yourself and your loved ones - get vaccinated!

Carmina went to do her two weeks grocery on March 25, 2025, at Landers Balintawak branch. Upon entering the store near the pharmacy there was a sign posted saying to register for vaccines that will be held on April 12, 2025. Carmina called up Becky asking if she is interested remembered to look out for the flu shot. Becky said yes and asked her to give me full name, birthdate and phone number contact information. Carmina also called up Mom Violy said alright and still faraway to decide.  Carmina felt Mom Violy should get the flu shot since we'll be traveling to California upcoming vacation. Two years ago, when we went to California got sick and that time it was covid season. I just wanted to protect myself even though hardly get sick in the Philippines. Two days before our flu vaccine received a SMS on our mobile phone number to confirm if we are going to get our flu shot. I had responded said yes. Tips on Red and Green Dates on DFA Booking System

Before we can consider flying International we need to make sure we have a valid passport that has six months allowance.

The hard part in the Philippines to schedule you an appointment is to check online at their website at the DFA Online Appointment. We come across when there are unavailable slots. You are lucky where there is an available slot open in color green on the calendar.

The tension comes when you're filling up the forms giving you either thirty minutes.

What happens when you have exceeded your time frame? You'll lose your slot that you would like to book online. The worse everyone wants to grab that slot and you have to go back from the beginning.

Why not fill up the DFA Forms ahead of time? You'll feel less pressure at least DFA will have it filed in their system when you plan to book your next DFA Online Passport Appointment Form.

Make sure you have the following documents next to you which are the following:

  • Passport (renewal)
  • Birth Certificate
  • Marriage Certificate (married)
You have a printer able to access to print the DFA Application Form to present when you have an online schedule to report to the DFA in person.

Carmina thought if she had filled up the DFA Online Passport Appointment Form it would retrieve when you plan to book yourself an appointment.

Guess what? It doesn't work that way you will still have 30 minutes timed up to fill up the application form when you have found a slot while booking your appointment.

Carmina's suggestion is to memorize your birth certificate, passport and contact number or else you will struggle due in time someone else has gotten your slot from you.

Make sure you have funds on your GCash, Paymaya or Credit Card to be able to purchase your Filipino Passport online the amount is PHP 950.00 plus additional charge if you prefer to rush your passport paying additional PHP 250.00 and to be delivered to your address is additional of PHP 200.00.

Make sure you are under the name of the card holder or else it will be failed and you will need to use another way to pay for your transaction.

You will receive an email that you have a DFA appointment and forms to be printed and make sure you bring those with you on the time scheduled along.

Tips:

Carmina will give you a tip how DFA Online really works to get a slot for yourself. They are playing red light and green light the time the calendar will appear on green is when you go the time of the following 12:00 PM, 9:00 PM, 12:00 AM and 8:00 AM.

It is just my observation and was informed by Mary Ann who was also going through a tough time getting herself an appointment.

Mary Ann and Carmina have been discussing on the topic we have research on what DFA is doing to everyone.

Mary Ann and Carmina was able to succeed to make an appointment from playing their game on us.

Read my next article on the actual appointment at Carmina's Experience in the DFA Robinson's Magnolia Philippines.
