Carmina planned to visit the newly opened Ikea at Trinoma on All Souls' Day , a Philippine holiday , thinking the mall would be less crowded. She didn’t invite Mom Violy, knowing she doesn’t enjoy going to Trinoma . While talking to Mom Violy on the phone, Carmina mentioned she was heading to Trinoma on Saturday, November 1, and invited her to come along, though she reminded her that she doesn’t like walking around that area. Mom Violy said she couldn’t recall ever visiting Trinoma, mentioning how aging parents tend to forget places they've been to. She expressed a craving for steak for lunch, so Carmina began searching for restaurants in Trinoma and sent her links to choose from. Mom Violy decided on Astons Specialties , which seemed to have the steak she wanted. Carmina was able to interview Jackie how it was when it was during our pandemic and lockdown in the Philippines. Jackie had informed that she only began selling her fruits year 2021 on the month of June when lockdown was no longer strict.
Earning an income is really hard when we came down to being lockdown where Jackie just stayed in her home.
A lot of people among working outside don't mind wearing a face mask as long they can feed their families and have an income where you can see what Jackie is selling.
