Later, the server called my dad's name and guided us to our table. The place was bustling with people enjoying meals and celebrating Mother's Day. Manang V is sharing her favorite recipe on String Beans with Tofu. Manang V said you can also do the same with kangkong if you choose to go in that direction.
String Beans with Tofu Recipe
Ingredients:
- 3 Tbsp. - Oyster Sauce
- 3 - Cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1 - Medium Onion (chopped)
- 2 - Tbs Cooking Oil
- 1/4 Kilo Pork (chopped)
- 1/2 Kilo String beans (washed, cut into 2 inch long pieces)
- Tofu (slice in cubes)
- 1/2 Cup - Water
Cooking Instructions:
Step 1:
Cook in a large pan in medium heat add cooking oil add garlic and onion sauté
Add pork cook for two minutes
Add oyster sauce and water until sauce begins to boil
Step 2:
Add string beans and tofu mix together cook for 10 minutes season ready to serve on a serving plate.
Best to eat with white rice.
