Since last year, Mom Violy and Carmina had been wanting to try the much-talked-about Bebang's Halo-Halo , but even when we passed by, the timing was never right. Mom Violy kept saying she’d wait until a branch opened closer to us. Then Becky told Carmina there was one along her commute route to work. The best part was that the Tomas Morato branch in Quezon City had just opened. When we arrived at CTTM Square , we found plenty of restaurants on the second floor. While checking the menu, we let the customers behind us order first. Mom Violy asked them for recommendations, and they suggested the Presidential for first timers. Unlike other places, Bebang’s Halo-Halo doesn’t have size options—everything comes in a standard size, making ordering easier. Seniors and PWDs get a discount per order, and you’re given something that lights up when your halo-halo is ready for pickup. Service was quick, so the wait wasn’t long at all. Carmina hasn't seen Becky for two years and decided to catch up.
Carmina had schedule to see Becky after she had received her Philippine Passport in Ali Mall. We met each other and walked to Gateway Mall to have our lunch at Burger King at the 3rd floor in the food court.
We had talked for hours catching up while we're eating our lunch.
Carmina and Becky decided to take some pictures together at Gateway Mall. Carmina liked the background where there were some origami birds on the ceiling being resembles that we want to fly and explore outside.
Becky had informed Carmina there were strangers looking at us the whole time we're taking our selfie pictures. It didn't stop Carmina to take pictures with Becky in public.
Carmina pretended to take a selfie in front of the person who was eyeing on us. 🤣
Carmina saw another spot to seat down where it was celebrating summer.
Our afternoon ended with stories for years we haven't seen each other even though we don't see in person we still catch on a daily basis talking in Facebook Messenger.
Till than if you have friends, might as well spend time with them because it is the real thing by taking precious moments added along years of friendship.
