Mom Violy wanted to eat crispy pata and pinakbet from Seafood Island Restaurant located in Cubao, Quezon City near the old Shopwise. We had arrived early being the first customers waiting for the restaurant to open. Few minutes later customers began entering the restaurant and we have already placed our order. Mom Violy ordered her crispy pata and pinakbet. Carmina ordered garlic butter shrimp since I don't eat crispy pata. Family member ordered calamari and shrimp fried rice. Everyone had a taste of our meals with leftovers to bring home. Watch my video Running Errands in the Philippines . NOT SPONSORED. Every time Carmina would travel she'll have time to eat with her neighbor friend Estella.
There are some friends who can only drive within their vinacity.
Carmina is visiting Fremont, California she would message Estella letting her know she'll be in her neighborhood.
Upon seeing Estella we had a face mask when entering the Com Tam Thanh Vietnamese. Those who are dining are also wearing a face mask and our table are distance apart from other customers.
By looking at the menu being hungry having no meal for the day. We asked Estella what she can recommend us to eat.
Estella said she always order the combo meal #20 Tom Com Combination Plate that comes with everything including soup and soda of your choice.
Mom Violy requested no egg due to her allergies.
Carmina decided to try #25 Com Tam Thanh Dac Biet Plate with no drink added mango boba smoothie and came with soup in her meal.
Being full we had leftovers to bring back with us.
We also asked to have our picture taken with the server who took our order.
Carmina took selfie photos while Estella and Mom Violy we're busy talking to each other.
Carmina found out during the pandemic Com Tam Thanh Vietnamese still had served food and have it ordered online.
Just in case your in the neighborhood you can try their food as well and see which ones you would like to eat for your meal of the day.
