Mom Violy, Tita Edna and Carmina have never been to Iloilo . Tita Edna suggested using her Philippine Airlines mileage to deduct 9,000 miles for a round trip to Iloilo and pay taxes of about 3,000 pesos ($50.85). Mom Violy and Carmina decided to do the same. Two weeks later, we learned Bacolod was recently hit by a typhoon, leaving fewer places to visit, so we changed our plans to stay in Iloilo, paying an additional 2,057 pesos ($34.86) for January 6–9, with Tita Edna leaving one day earlier on January 8, 2026. Raquel had explained every time she has family or friends spending time with them. Often, she would share places she has discovered on her own based on her own experience.
You wonder why she calls it real life of Hawaii because we see people who live off in tents who cannot afford to live in a house of their own.
Reality brings us seeing people who have chosen to live this way rather living off on what the government can provide them. Some people don't want to be discipline and live with restriction. They prefer to live off near nature on the outside.

Tips:
It is best not to go alone because there are a lot of homeless surrounded living in the tent. The area has a lot of trash where they look for food to consume.
If you're someone who loves to hike, there is no problem as long you wear proper shoes.
It is a great opportunity to spend time with Raquel even if it is a short 6-Minutes walk any age can do it.
Remember to bring a camera or phone to do some photo shoot.
