Carmina's dad was craving for Vietnamese and wanted to bring his family have a meal. We are in the area of Brentwood, my dad remembered he used to dine in at CreAsian Wok 'n Roll . Upon entering there we're a lot of customers and the person asked how many we are seated at the table. The server handed us a menu asked us what we would like to drink. They brought out pitcher of iced water with glasses for us to pour our own water. My dad ordered a grilled lemongrass chicken combo with egg, shrimp, and an egg roll . Family member ordered basil leaf with chicken and garlic rice . Another family member had ordered a large Creation Special soup to share with everyone. Carmina wanted the banh mi sandwiches but unfortunately it wasn't available had to pick something else to eat. I decided to try the string beans with shrimp and included is the plain white rice. Carmina had asked Mom Violy what she would eat for dinner. Mom Violy said, there is a lot of food in the refrigerator that is all leftover.
Carmina didn't want to eat repeated leftover for a week.
Carmina told Mom Violy she'll just order her dinner along with Papa Ping through Door Dash Delivery.
Few minutes later Carmina told Mom Violy she'll be ordering El Pollo Loco and decided to get the 8 Pieces Fire Grilled Chicken Dinner that came with 2 sides of your choice for $28.99 not including delivery fee and tip to the rider.
Mom Violy said can you also order me some. Carmina couldn't stop laughing at her.
Door Dash Delivery had informed the driver was on its way. Carmina waited outside at the driveway to grab the food from the rider.
Carmina had already set the table for the three of us to eat our meal with leg/thigh chicken part with Spanish rice, tortilla, salsa and chips.
El Pollo Loco serves different type of food in what caters to your taste buds. Carmina loves eating grilled chicken and wrap her food this way. Mom Violy and Papa Ping prefer eating it without the tortilla.
