Mom Violy Craving for Filipino Dishes from Seafood Island Restaurant

  Mom Violy wanted to eat crispy pata and pinakbet from Seafood Island Restaurant located in Cubao, Quezon City near the old Shopwise. We had arrived early being the first customers waiting for the restaurant to open. Few minutes later customers began entering the restaurant and we have already placed our order. Mom Violy ordered her crispy pata and pinakbet. Carmina ordered garlic butter shrimp since I don't eat crispy pata. Family member ordered calamari and shrimp fried rice. Catalina's Chilaquiles Recipe

 


Other than having an ordinary breakfast we can topped it by upgrading our meal with a Mexican touch by Catalina who will demonstrate how to make it.

It is Carmina's first time to have a real Mexican breakfast of the home of Catalina.

You will be needing the following ingredients for Chilaquiles starting the procedure to begin.

  • 10 Pieces - Corn Tortilla (sliced in cubes)
  • Red Onion
  • Panela Cheese
Catalina's preference in Corn Tortilla brand is to look for this found in the grocery store.



Cooking Instructions for Chilaquiles:

Place in frying pan add olive oil add sliced tortilla and let it become crispy before adding chopped red onions mix well by adding panela cheese until it is melted and prepared to serve along with your choice of egg on your plate.




Carmina had enjoyed her breakfast meal cooked especially from the heart of Catalina.
