  Ever eaten your lunch very late it was already one in the afternoon by the time Mom Violy and Carmina was going to eat. Mom Violy wanted to eat at  Cibo located at the GH the newest area located in Greenhill's Shopping Center. Mom Violy already knew what she wanted to eat was the chicken sandwich. The server had informed us there is a new promo which you can get a set meal by picking which one you would like. There was a perfect lunch deal for Mom Violy's chicken sandwich the server asked if Mom Violy would like to pair it with carbonara pasta for 549.00 pesos ($9.63). Each had a cream puff for your dessert was served ahead of our meal since Mom Violy was already feeling lightheaded. Mom Violy's Pork Adobo Recipe



Everyone always wants to learn from their own mom how to cook their Filipino dishes.

Mom Violy decided to cook some Filipino Pork Adobo for Papa Ping.

Carmina was able to watch Mom Violy cook in the kitchen and take a video during the process.

Mom Violy's Pork Adobo Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 1lbs. Country Pork Ribs (washed and chopped in cubes)
  • 1/2 Cup - Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 Cup - Water
  • 1 - Clove Garlic (chopped)
  • 1 Tbsp. - White Vinegar
  • 1 - Knor Pork Cube
  • 1 Tbsp. - Black Pepper or Peppercorn
  • 1 - Small Piece Bay Leaf
Marinate Sauce:

Add pork ribs in a plastic Tupperware  



In a small bowl add soy sauce, water, garlic, vinegar and black pepper mix well add with pork ribs let it marinate for one hour in the refrigerator.



Cooking Procedure:

It has been marinated more than one hour it will be transferred in a cooking pot cook in low heat for one hour until meat is tender and add pork cubes.



After one hour have a frying pan with small amount of cooking oil transfer only the pork ribs fry until golden brown and transfer the pork ribs without the oil to the sauce of the adobo to the pot.

Pork adobo is cooked and ready to eat with white rice.

Life in general we forget to add something in our cooking, yet it can be solved by finding another way to do it example:

Mom Violy forgot to add the white vinegar to the marination sauce for one hour no need to worry can be added when you cook it in the pot.
