Mom Violy wanted to eat crispy pata and pinakbet from Seafood Island Restaurant located in Cubao, Quezon City near the old Shopwise. We had arrived early being the first customers waiting for the restaurant to open. Few minutes later customers began entering the restaurant and we have already placed our order. Mom Violy ordered her crispy pata and pinakbet. Carmina ordered garlic butter shrimp since I don't eat crispy pata. Family member ordered calamari and shrimp fried rice. Carmina had scheduled to see her best friend May along with Mom Violy.
Mom Violy had picked her favorite Red Lobster in Fremont, California.
Red Lobster had a New Seafood Summerfest and we wanted to try it out.
Mom Violy had the Grilled Lobster, Shrimp and Salmon with clam chowder and rice.
Carmina had the Today's Catch Salmon New Orleans (half portion) of clam chowder and baked potato.
May had the full portion of Salmon with rice and salad.
Carmina, May and Mom Violy had enjoyed their Seafood Summerfest for lunch and filled up our ears with stories that passed for three years unable to travel.
