Carmina informed Mom Violy that she would visit her home on Saturday, November 8, 2025. She asked if Mom Violy wanted to go out for lunch and mentioned needing to do some grocery shopping due to an upcoming big storm. Mom Violy suggested trying Crisostomo, a Filipino restaurant inside Robinsons Magnolia. Carmina forwarded the menu for her to choose what she wanted to eat, while Carmina already knew her order. I chose pork barbeque served in a set of three pieces with a vinegar dipping sauce. I skipped rice and opted for lumpiang hubad, fresh lumpia without a wrapper, topped with peanut sauce. Mom Violy initially craved the classic Pinoy paella, but when it wasn’t available, she decided on sinigang na baboy with an extra serving of rice. A family member chose sisig with garlic rice. Walking out your home and seeing your best friend outside of her car ready to give you a big hug is a welcome back to our new friendship.
Carmina was so excited and not able to picture Amy how she would look even if you have seen pictures of her and the family.
Seeing a person is different.
Amy asked Carmina what she wanted to eat for dinner.
Moment like this we don't need to be picky because we really just want to catch up on what has been going on after our college years.
Everyone goes through friendship when we are separating ourselves to what career we want to get us into for the future.
Amy decided to eat at Marzano Restaurant.
Marzano Restaurant has no parking where you can park from the neighborhood.
Someone will approach you asking whether you would like to dine out provided with a heater when windy in the evening or dine inside where the front door is completely open.
Carmina decided to dine inside when seeing Amy had no jacket with her.
Carmina asked Amy to order for us since she has Italina blood made it easier because in my mind I was still in shock seeing my childhood best friend in front of me.
Amy had ordered us from the Antipasti (appetizers)

Amy and I couldn't finish our dinner giving us leftovers.
After dining at Marzano Restaurant gives you a chance to walk outside and keep catching up what we both missed.
Till than Carmina will be visiting next year we'll still have time to catch up with each other.
