Mom Violy wanted to eat crispy pata and pinakbet from Seafood Island Restaurant located in Cubao, Quezon City near the old Shopwise. We had arrived early being the first customers waiting for the restaurant to open. Few minutes later customers began entering the restaurant and we have already placed our order. Mom Violy ordered her crispy pata and pinakbet. Carmina ordered garlic butter shrimp since I don't eat crispy pata. Family member ordered calamari and shrimp fried rice. After Carmina had informed Mom Violy she ate pho soup over the weekend. Mom Violy started craving for Pho Soup that she uses to eat at Huong Lan Newark Sandwiches & Noodle Soup in Newark, California with her friends.
Memory comes when you spend time years growing up discovering restaurants you want to eat.
Mom Violy ordered the Special Combination Beef Noodle Soup. Mom Violy couldn't finish it and had the leftovers for takeout.
Carmina ordered the BBQ Chicken #4 that comes with soup.
Huong Lan Newark Sandwiches & Noodle Soup has an option for takeout or dine inside the restaurant where they'll hand you a menu and pay at the counter once done eating.
For those who cannot finish your food they'll provide you containers to bring it home for you to do it on your own.
