Mom Violy Craving for Filipino Dishes from Seafood Island Restaurant

Mom Violy wanted to eat crispy pata and pinakbet from Seafood Island Restaurant located in Cubao, Quezon City near the old Shopwise. We had arrived early being the first customers waiting for the restaurant to open. Few minutes later customers began entering the restaurant and we have already placed our order. Mom Violy ordered her crispy pata and pinakbet. Carmina ordered garlic butter shrimp since I don't eat crispy pata. Family member ordered calamari and shrimp fried rice. Everyone had a taste of our meals with leftovers to bring home. Watch my video  Running Errands in the Philippines . NOT SPONSORED. Mom Violy's Favorite Kaya Korean Restaurant

Mom Violy was telling her there was a Korean restaurant she use to dine out with her best friend Nora along time ago.

Mom Violy could only remember it was located in Makati.

Mom Violy called up Joy the daughter of Nora to find out the name of the Korean restaurant.

Carmina found out that Kaya Korean Restaurant is branch out where Mom Violy was able to dine in with Elle when she was staying at the New World Makati Hotel.

Since Carmina wasn't able to dine in with Elle during her visit Mom Violy wanted Carmina to try it at a different branch.

Carmina found out there was one located same area where Mom Violy did her DFA Robinsons Magnolia.

We had waited for Kaya Korean Restaurant to open being the first one to enter.

Carmina had a chance to take picture of the location and menu.

Appetizers

Mom Violy ordered her favorite Kalbi Jim (Korean Beef Stew) for PHP 370.00 ($6.61).

Carmina added Fried Rice PHP 200.00 ($3.57) and Japchae PHP 290.00 ($5.18) to our meal.

Carmina took a picture outside while Mom Violy was getting ready to go out of Kaya Korean Restaurant.
