Tired of the new rules, Carmina closed her Google Maps account — what pushed her over the edge?

It’s been months since Carmina last posted on her Google Maps. I started doing it just for fun, exploring new places to dine and travel, and sharing those spots with others. Back in 2017, I wasn’t even blogging yet. Over the years, I received numerous email updates about changes, but in September, the removal of followers on Google Maps felt particularly strange. There’s no point in complaining about it. I decided not to close my account, as it wasn’t an option, but I did delete all the photos I had contributed over the years. I have fond memories of seeing which photos were popular and had hoped to share them with you. It was surprising to see how many views my pictures had accumulated. While deleting them, I noticed that many restaurants and bakeries no longer exist, with some marked as unknown on the map. Watch Out Subscription Charges from DoorDash of $9.99


Carmina went to check her balance online from her bank in the United States. She had notice that there are multiples of charges in her Door Dash for $9.99 from starting the month of July until October.

Who wants to be charged for $9.99 when you're no longer using the application being in the Philippines.

Login in at https://www.doordash.com/

Click Chat:

Proceed talking to a representative that is online.

Not me how to resolve it is to go to the DoorDash application click chat with a representative to resolve the issues.

You no longer need to be in the location where you had used DoorDash just giving the representative your full name under the account.

The representative will put you on hold for 3 minutes to pull up your file.

The representative in charge will asked for four digits from credit card linked to DoorDash. They will put you on hold another 3 minutes to process your complaint.

During the process you'll receive three emails it will look like this:



Carmina requested to deactivate my account from DoorDash since I'll no longer be using it since I am in the Philippines.


No worries to get stress over something that can be solved by a call or chat online from DoorDash.
