Mom Violy and Carmina’s dining experience at Dean & DeLuca

  Mom Violy told me she wanted to order the Paella Negra from Dean & Deluca. Carmina suggested we dine in since we’d never really tried their main courses, always just getting takeout with the cream puffs . Mom Violy agreed, and we arrived about thirty minutes before the lunch rush began. The service was very slow, even though we had ordered ahead of time. They mistakenly brought out the Paella Valenciana , despite Mom Violy repeating the order three times to the person who took it. It turned out the cook on duty made the error, even though it was written down clearly. We know Paella Negra takes a long time to prepare, which is why Mom Violy had requested it to be cooked beforehand. She wanted it as her main meal, but because of the mix-up and feeling hungry, she took a piece of Carmina’s Turkey Club Sandwich and asked for the bacon on the side. Becky's Food Challenge from Carmina

Carmina decided to do a food challenge with Becky. By giving her food given by her Uncle Ando from the States. Carmina hasn't tried the imported goods giving Becky a chance to explore on how she will use it to make her own meals. Food Challenge Ingredients: 1- Nonfat Dry Milk 1 - Pinto Beans 1 - Oatmeal 1 - Canned Diced Tomatoes 1 - Pork in a Can 1 - Canned Tuna 1 - Kidney Beans Carmina gave Becky to try some  Barlico Substitute coffee that was purchased online. Challenge has been accepted where Becky will use her own creativity to make her own meal by adding what else she has in her home. Becky's Chocolate Oats with Walnut Recipe

Carmina gave Becky a Food Challenge where she gave her some ingredients out of Quick Oats, California Shelled Walnuts and Barlico Chocolate. Becky decided to make some chocolate oats with walnut for her meal for the day and have a drink included. Becky's Chocolate Oats with Walnut Recipe: Ingredients: 1/4 Cup - Walnut 1/4 Cup Oats Blender 1 Stick of Barlico Choco (cut in half making 2 servings) Step 1: Place walnut inside the blender until fully blend place in a bowl. Step 2: Add Oats and use 1 Stick of Choco Barlico cutting into half adding to the bowl. Pour hot boiling water in oats and cook for 6 minutes until soften. Step 3: Add sugar to your taste and it can make 4 servings  Optional add banana if you don't want to add sugar Becky's Overall Review: If the person is not into so much tasty food and just want it healthy then this is how it is done.
