Mom Violy wanted to eat crispy pata and pinakbet from Seafood Island Restaurant located in Cubao, Quezon City near the old Shopwise. We had arrived early being the first customers waiting for the restaurant to open. Few minutes later customers began entering the restaurant and we have already placed our order. Mom Violy ordered her crispy pata and pinakbet. Carmina ordered garlic butter shrimp since I don't eat crispy pata. Family member ordered calamari and shrimp fried rice. Did you know there is Sweet Potato, Sweet Corn and Pumpkin Sitsaron?
Those who are health conscious can eat something similar to pork fried skins. Only difference these are made from vegetables from sweet potato known to be kamote in Tagalog. Or pumpkin is kalabasa both my favorite.
Mister Kamote Crackling by Vegetari Healthy Bites is what I had liked the best.
I gave the others away. Manang V liked the Mang Kalabasa Cracklings by Vegetari Healthy Bites.
Manang V was too excited when I handed the Mang Kalabasa Crackling. She had no clue it was already opened since I've had tried one piece. Manang V took a pair of scissors. I had informed it was in a zip lock packaging. I had opened it up for her.
Carmina remembers Becky was craving for sitsaron. I made her a bag of Sweet Corn Crackings by Vegetari.
Becky's overall review is better giving a rate of 5 for the taste. Becky recommended for kids being a healthy snack.
