Mom Violy Craving for Filipino Dishes from Seafood Island Restaurant

Mom Violy wanted to eat crispy pata and pinakbet from Seafood Island Restaurant located in Cubao, Quezon City near the old Shopwise. We had arrived early being the first customers waiting for the restaurant to open. Few minutes later customers began entering the restaurant and we have already placed our order. Mom Violy ordered her crispy pata and pinakbet. Carmina ordered garlic butter shrimp since I don't eat crispy pata. Family member ordered calamari and shrimp fried rice. Everyone had a taste of our meals with leftovers to bring home. Watch my video  Running Errands in the Philippines . NOT SPONSORED. Mom Violy's Craving at Rustica Restaurant in Cabanatuan City

The last time Mom Voily ate at Rustica Restaurant in Cabanatuan City was year 2020.

Many of us haven't travelled during the pandemic giving us opportunity to go back to the place we grew up.

I was able to see my cousin Jaworski. He was able to tour us around while notice there are new developments in the area.

Mom Violy's typical food she craves for are the following dishes.

Sinigang na Baka na may Litid 450.00 pesos ($8.33)

Satanghon Guisado 225.00 pesos ($4.17)

Pinakbet 250.00 pesos ($4.63)

Carmina had requested to try something new Fish Fillet Sweet and Sour for 350.00 pesos ($6.48).

The changes I've notice is the menu is different.

Everyone was too busy catching up. Carmina took pictures.

The Filipino dishes remain to taste the same. Being with family and friends made it even special.
