Tito Boni's birthday was on the month of May, but since we're on vacation in California it was delayed. Tita Edna decided to have the celebration meal at Zensho for our lunch. Tito Boni and Tita Edna had arrived at the restaurant to pick our seating arrangement. Carmina had picked up Mom Violy at her home and met them at Zensho. We had arrived at 11:30 AM. Not many customers during the time of arrival later people started coming in even if the forecast was raining. Tito Boni, Tita Edna and Mom Violy had ordered the food that will be cooked in front of us. The last time Mom Voily ate at Rustica Restaurant in Cabanatuan City was year 2020.
Many of us haven't travelled during the pandemic giving us opportunity to go back to the place we grew up.
I was able to see my cousin Jaworski. He was able to tour us around while notice there are new developments in the area.
Mom Violy's typical food she craves for are the following dishes.
Sinigang na Baka na may Litid 450.00 pesos ($8.33)
Satanghon Guisado 225.00 pesos ($4.17)
Pinakbet 250.00 pesos ($4.63)
Carmina had requested to try something new Fish Fillet Sweet and Sour for 350.00 pesos ($6.48).
The changes I've notice is the menu is different.
Everyone was too busy catching up. Carmina took pictures.
The Filipino dishes remain to taste the same. Being with family and friends made it even special.
