Mom Violy wanted to eat crispy pata and pinakbet from Seafood Island Restaurant located in Cubao, Quezon City near the old Shopwise. We had arrived early being the first customers waiting for the restaurant to open. Few minutes later customers began entering the restaurant and we have already placed our order. Mom Violy ordered her crispy pata and pinakbet. Carmina ordered garlic butter shrimp since I don't eat crispy pata. Family member ordered calamari and shrimp fried rice. Mom Violy found out it can purchase from Baguio Market_mnl located every weekend inside Robinsons Magnolia at the ground floor.
Baguio Market Manila have seasonal vegetables and fruits that are in season.
The price of the persimmon is 60 pesos ($1.09) per piece.
Mom Violy said, there is no seed in the middle shown on the photo.
Mom Violy said, it is sweet just like what you get from the United States.
Those who are living in the Philippines you can purchase persimmon coming from Sagada.
Since the climate is cold just in the United States, they are able to plant and harvest it there.
