Carmina's Experience from Barbero's Grooming Center

When was the last time you had a haircut?

Carmina hasn’t been paying attention to herself.

After looking at the mirror I see myself having a hard time fixing my hair.

I had to look back to check when the last time was, I had a haircut.

I remember it was in a salon Mom Violy wanted to try.

It has been five months when I last groomed myself.

I was trying to figure out why it took so long to get a haircut.

I guess from moving back to the old house and holiday season. We never had the chance to see how we looked.

Carmina is not going to a salon she went last year.

Actually, this is a barber shop that attends to both men and women.

I used to have my haircut and other treatments in the past.

Every hair stylist come and go there is a challenge each time.

Carmina had entered inside Barbero's Grooming Center with face mask on asked the first person I saw who can cut my hair.

Julie had pointed to me who was doing pedicure with another customer.

Manny said, he will be the one to cut my hair. Manny asked how I wanted my hair to be cut. Manny said, do I want it how many inches. straight cut or layered. I showed him by the length of my hair by pointing it. I said just straight cut. I am sure you can go based on who had cut my hair five months ago.

I didn't want my hair to be chin length since my hair tends to curl out. I have a hard time fixing it up.

Manny said, it will be two inches to cut your hair.

I also requested to have my neck shaved. I have thick hair and most of the hair grows out from there.

Manny had finished cutting my hair. He used a blow dryer to make sure the length was just right.

Manny informed me that they also do massage inside Barbero's Grooming Center.

I had a tour inside to see how it looks like it is located on the second floor with air-conditioner. There are two beds separated from each other giving privacy on each customer.

The price to have one hour massage is 500.00 ($8.93) pesos.

I inform Manny that I will just refer them to someone since recently I had a massage few days ago.

I was told by someone that you're supposed to wait every three days to get another massage.

I also found out they also do notary services inside by Larry who can also assist you with legal stuff when needed. The rate depends on what kind of services you would like to be made.

Just in one place you can have your beauty treatment and also get a massage.

They accept walk-in.

Haircut is 200.00 ($3.57) and it is up to you if you want to give a tip.
