Family was informed by their friends to try Blackbird at the Nielson Tower and asked Mom Violy if she has ever been there before. Mom Violy had no clue what it was asked Carmina to look it up and see what kind of food they serve. Carmina gave the phone number to Mom Violy make a reservation for a family lunch. On the day of the reservation, we arrived early and were allowed to enter before the official opening time of eleven o’clock in the morning. We decided to stay in the lobby, where we were asked if we wanted anything to drink. Carmina took videos inside and learned about the history by talking to the staff. One hour later, people started coming into the restaurant and took their seats at the reservation table, browsing the menu to decide what to order. Tita Edna recently ate out with her friends at High Street Cafe, Shangri-La at the Fort Manila located in Taguig.

Tita Edna had enjoyed her meal decided to ask Boni if he would like to have a meal with Violy and Carmina.

Tito Boni said, sure it can be a belated birthday lunch treat for Mom Violy.

Tita Edna had informed Violy and Carmina we are having lunch on November 27, 2024.

Tita Edna informed me since we have never been there, she felt it would a place we would enjoy ourselves.

Carmina realized we'll be one day ahead of Thanksgiving Day in the United States.

Carmina is thankful for having friends of Mom Violy who takes me along with their lunch dates.

Upon entering inside Shangri-La The Fort Manila there will be security check up in your car before entering the drop off area.

There will be another check in putting your personal bags inside the investigation area to pass through before you can claim it just like in the airport.

We had passed the lobby to reach High Street Cafe which is located main floor.

Be sure to make a reservation before having a meal.

Upon reaching High Street Cafe, they will ask whom the reservation is under whose name and will be seated assigned table.

Only certain drinks apply to the buffet must ask the server before you decide to order however there is a discount if you're occupancy with a senior or pwd card holder.

Mom Violy and Tito Boni requested to cook the shrimp with butter and garlic sending it to the server who assisted us at the table. They both gave him a tip for his service.
